CHERRY Electrical Products 创建于 1953 年，于 2008 年被 ZF 集团收购。著名的 CHERRY 品牌在 ZF Friedrichshafen AG 的保护下继续繁荣发展，并且在 2013 年，仅微型开关就生产了超过 2.5 亿个。还将产品范围系统地扩展到微型开关以外，目前包含传感器、电子控制装置和基于红外技术的触摸控件。

CHERRY's switches, sensors and controls are synonymous with quality, precision and reliability, and can be found in a broad range of applications and markets such as white goods and appliances, automotive, gaming, vending, drives, switchgear, control engineering and powertools.

With significant engineering resource and extensive production capabilities, a broad range of standard components are available, through to customer-specific, complex mechatronic solutions or electronic control units. The combination of advanced manufacturing processes geared to the highest quality standards with a management system certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 and 14001:2005 and ISO/TS 16949:2002 has already won a number of distinguished business awards.

ZF acquired Cherry in 2008. The former Cherry products continue to thrive under the umbrella of ZF Friedrichshafen AG and in 2015 produced more than 250 million microswitches alone. The product range has been systematically expanding beyond microswitches and now includes sensors, electronic controls, and touch controls based on infra-red technology.

ZF is a global leader in driveline and chassis technology as well as active and passive safety technology. The company, which acquired TRW Automotive on May 15, 2015 and integrated it into the organizational structure as the Active & Passive Safety Technology Division, is represented at about 230 locations in some 40 countries. The combined company has a global workforce of around 138,300 and reported sales of €29.2 billion in 2015. ZF annually invests approximately five percent of its sales in Research & Development (€1.4 billion in 2015) ensuring continued success through the design and engineering of innovative technologies.
