VENTREX was founded back in 1949. Since that time, VENTREX has grown from a commercial manufacturer of tire valves into a leading global Tier1/Tier2 supplier to the automotive industry.

In 1992, Fifty years after VENTREX was founded, it was acquired by Christian Planegger, and then expanded in successive stages. Rapid organic growth was accompanied by numerous acquisitions. For example, the natural gas valve business of automotive supplier Robert Bosch GmbH was acquired.

In 2015,To assure the further development and growth trajectory of the Graz site, VENTREX was integrated into the global network of Aalberts. Today, VENTREX works with partners in Slovenia, China, and India, and we sell our products right around the globe.
