民国91年9月18日经济部核准设立，98年8月14日于台湾证券交易所上市买卖。Leadtrend通嘉科技主要从事于模拟集成电路之研究、开发、生产、制造及销售业务。目前开发出来的产品-电源控制芯片（AC/DC、DC/DC PWM control）主要是应用在笔记本电脑、液晶电视、显示器、网络通讯、智能型手机、平板、家电、LED 照明等产品上。

Leadtrend通嘉科技成立于 2002 年，来年迁入新竹科学园区营运，为一专业的模拟 IC 设计公司，经营团队拥有电源管理领域丰富的学经历，是少数横跨 AC/DC 及 DC/DC 电源管理 IC 的设计公司。
