In all NICHIAS' businesses from its energy and industrial plants business, which provides products and engineering for all kinds of plant facilities, its industrial products business, which makes key industries its main market, its advanced products business, which specializes in the semiconductor industry, its autoparts business, which counts automobile manufacturers as its main customers, through to its building materials business, which supplies and installs building and housing materials, NICHIAS continues to globalize its operations while utilizing its technologies and experience that it has developed to date.

NICHIAS was founded in 1896 as a pioneer in the field of heat and thermal insulation in Japan.Since then, NICHIAS has been providing products and services based on NICHIAS unique “Insulation and Protection” technologies, which we have cultivated over 120 years, to the key industries of each era, including shipbuilding, petroleum refining and petrochemicals, electric power, construction, automobiles and semiconductors.Looking at today's business environment in which NICHIAS has grown through such transitions, rapid digitalization, shifts in the way people work, and environmental issues such as global warming are drastically changing society at a different speed than ever before.
