DeZURIK，1928年到今天

DEZURIK, 1928 TO TODAY

The Sartell Paper Mill had a problem with pine pitch build-up on their valves. They looked to an inventive employee for a solution. His name was Matt DeZurik. Matt realized that if the sealing face of the plug could immediately pull away from the seat upon opening, the plug would avoid damage from pitch. He designed a valve with a segmented plug mounted on pivot bearings at each end of the shaft. The plug had a cam (eccentric) closure action against the raised body seat – a revolutionary development at the time. From that beginning, the DeZURIK Eccentric Valve was born in 1928. Paper manufacturers immediately recognized its advantages and sent in their orders

Since then, the DeZURIK product line has extended beyond the paper industry. Today DeZURIK is the innovative global leader in valve technologies for water and wastewater treatment as well as industrial applications including pulp and paper, chemical and petrochemical, power, mining and other process industries. EXPANSIONS & ACQUISITIONS

In 2011, DeZURIK acquired APCO and Willamette - two industry-leading water and wastewater brands that boast a history of innovation going back to APCO’s founding in 1895. With renowned technology in Air Valves, Check Valves, Surge Relief Valves, Metal Seated Ball Valves and Cone Valves, APCO and Willamette products are a perfect addition to DeZURIK’s vast line. Plus, our combined company histories total more than 350 years – providing our customers unrivaled expertise.

In 2012, DeZURIK acquired HILTON Valve, Inc. - a leading producer of fabricated large diameter and custom knife gate valves. Combining HILTON products and operations with DeZURIK created one of the broadest knife gate and engineered valve companies in the industry.

In 2021, DeZURIK acquired Red Valve, a global leader for innovative elastomers, pinch valves, check valves and engineered mixing systems. The two main brands are Red Valve and Tideflex – both which tout strong market share in their areas of focus.
