2014年2月28日，Dover公司将其部分通信技术集团（包括Dielectric Laboratories，Syfer，Novacap和Voltronics）分拆到Knowles Corporation。

Over its more than 30 year history, NOVACAP has grown by supplying difficult to produce Multilayer Ceramic Capacitor (MLC) products to the aerospace, military, medical, telecommunications, computer, and oil exploration markets.

NOVACAP is dedicated to satisfying our customer's capacitor needs. We offer excellent customer service and have extensive test facilities that enable us to offer our customers the best quality available. NOVACAP specializes in application specific multilayer ceramic capacitors and capacitor assemblies. Our product offerings include surface mount capacitors from the 0402 case size to larger high voltage units (up to 10kV) for commercial and high reliability applications

On February 28th 2014, Dover Corporation spun-off a portion of their Communications Technology Group including Dielectric Laboratories, Syfer, Novacap and Voltronics into Knowles Corporation.
